Guest Designer - Finnabair

We are so very excited to have Anna Dabrowska, also known as Finnabair, come to teach in store in November. Anna is originally from Poland and now lives in Ireland and is a very accomplished and much published mixed media artist and art journaller. Anna is also a full time designer and experienced travelling teacher who's artwork is renowned globally.

We are offering the following classes and please note that these classes are strictly on a first come, first served basis and must be paid in full at time of booking. Please note that following prices include tuition and kit, including the mixed media products and embellishments. The only items you will be required to bring are limited to your own photo, apron, paper towels, baby wipes, paintbrush, adhesive, masking tape, spray water bottle, palette knife and heat gun (some of these items are optional, depending on the class that you attend).

Please note that a prior expression of interest does not guarantee a spot in these classes. All bookings and communication are to be made via emailing Judy at madewithmemories@bigpond.com. Upon booking you will receive a confirmation email with payment details. If you book into ALL the classes you will receive a Exclusive Gold Pass to a Meet and Greet and morning tea with Finnabair on Tuesday 17th November.

Finnabair Class Update

Ladies I am delighted to announce that Finnabair will joining us here at Made with Memories on Tuesday 17th, Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th of November. An email will go out next Monday 29th June that will have all of the information that you need to know. 

We thank our VIP customers who have expressed interest and please note that once the bookings open it will be a first in best dressed basis as we have 53 people who have expressed interest.

July Newsletter and Class Sneak Peeks

 Thank you to all the new customers who have joined us over the last few weeks and welcome back to all of our existing customers who have joined us in store lately and booked into our classes. We had a great response to our VIP promotion and 16 lucky ladies have been selected and contacted. If you are unable to attend please contact the store as soon as possible to allow another lucky customer to be chosen. We have a fun night planned and for those who have missed out you will have another chance later in the year.

We have lots of new product in store including the new laser cut chipboard release from Dusty Attic along with restocking of some of the old favourites. The new "Into The Wild" zoo papers and embellishments have also arrived and we are having a "Wild Day" in August with a gorgeous mini album and a trio of scrapbooking layouts planned. A large assortment of flowers have also arrived in store and are selling very fast.

Our Royal Scrapbooking Retreat has been a huge success and please note that bookings close on the 30th June. All retreat payments are now due. For more information regarding this retreat please contact myself via reply email.

Don't forget our garage sale this Sunday 21st June where there are LOTS of bargains to be had! Our stall holders have gathered up all their supplies and Jen from Dusty Attic will also be there with a huge assortment of bargains. Amazing specials in store from 11am to 1pm. Please note the stall holders only accept cash and there will be no EFTPOS facilities on the day.

A huge thank you to our amazing staff  Deb, Jodie, Helen and Rosalie for their amazing displays in store. These will change each month so please pop in and be inspired by their artwork. I really appreciate all your hard work and dedication.

Price does not include spending money, optional day tours, meals (unless specified),  insurance, departure taxes, entry visas, passport fees, excess luggage, additional room expenses including mini bar,  phone and room service.

Please note that in order to book you will need to have a current passport and it needs to be valid for a minimum of 6 months after the date of travel.

A non refundable deposit of $250 will be required at the time of booking. Further payments will be required in monthly instalments with balance due to be paid no later than 19th February.  Full details will be advised upon booking. No extension on payments is permitted. An additional fee will be charged on any overdue payments.

Please note there will be 2 meetings held in store. The first will be Sunday 23^rd August which will be an information evening and an opportunity to meet the Made with Memories staff and designer Jen Hedger from Dusty Attic. This will be a great opportunity to also meet the lovely ladies who will be joining you on the tour. Please note this meeting is strictly only open to those who have a secured booking and the full deposit has been paid. The second meeting will take place in April next year to again catch up with everyone and go over the full itinerary. 

June Class Sneak Peeks

 

Lots of new and exciting things have happened in the last month. There has been sooo much new stock arrive from all over the world from Tim Holts new stencils, Couture Creations full range “Hearts Ease”, Kaiser new ranges and loads of new dies, Tim Holts new monthly release of inks, Prima Papers and embellishments, Bo Bunny papers, blending card and Copics were restocked and last but by no means least the Bazzill has arrived and will continue to arrive in the coming weeks. I’m delighted with the new Bazzill wall and to make it easier for all of us as the barcode section has the code of the Bazzill and the name on it. Please note that all cardstock on the huge colour wall has been turned over and is stored face down so that it is not affected by the lights.

The class room has undergone changes in order to make way  for Elna and Edna and these new sewing machines are available to use in classes only. We ask that you seek assistance from staff when using these machines. The wedding section has also been revamped making way for the new "Do It Yourself" invitation section.

We have also launched our new “JM Collection” with banners, flowers and giftware. The flowers have been very popular with very positive feedback. Ladies have travelled from near and far to pick flowers and my favourite would have to be the garden bed of tulips. The presentation of the new cabinet is so beautiful. 

A section is now ready for the new Dusty Attic release which will be in store in a couple of weeks. We really look forward to seeing this beautiful range together with some old favourites soon.  

Congratulations to staff member Jodie Digney who recently had a canvas published in the recent Scrapbooking Magazine. Jodie your work as always is beautiful and this piece is just magnificent.

The next Garage Sale date is 21st June from 11am to 1pm. Positions for stall holders are now open and this is a fantastic opportunity to clear out your craft stash. Stalls are $10 per table which is supplied and it is free entry for customers.

6 months classes are about to get underway and we have a huge variety on offer. We have Scrap Yard starting this week which is a perfect range for male photos. We have Springtime starting next month that is a beautiful collection from Graphic 45 and Oh So Lovely starting in July which is a perfect for either a female or travel. Each of these classes will require you to attend one 2 - 2.5 hour class per month. In addition to this we will be running a 4 pages in 4 hours over the months of June, July and August (repeating the very popular Scrapbooking Made Easy Part 1) which is the Blue Bay collection. Ladies if you have any questions regarding these  please pop in and see one of the friendly ladies or call us on 9591 3188. The question has been raised “Are any of these layouts being offered as a one off class or a kit?” and the answer to this question will all depend on the availability of the product for each month. Please stay tuned and watch out for further communication regarding these classes.

The next VIP night is on Friday 26^th June and this one will be Grand as it will be our Anniversary Special night and if you would like to go into the draw to win a GOLD TICKET to attend this function and receive some fantastic Make n Takes, Demos and Bargains all you need to do is spend $50 in one transaction between now and the 7^th June. The lucky winners will be drawn by Centre Management on the 8^th of June and all lucky entries notified by phone as soon as possible.
